Kyle & Jackie O
This season the pre-season hype up has already begun. It all started
when Kyle and Jackie O were announced as new hosts after Gretel and TEN 'parted ways.' The celebrity radio duo, TV Preseter:
Jackie O and Australian Idol judge Kyle Sandilands are set to host all major events while the FNL crew will remain the same.
Sandilands was a weekend guest in the 2007 house but left the house early due to a migrain.
He also came 2nd in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2002.
Jackie-O was set to go into the house during Sandiland's stay to co-host with Kyle: The Kyle
and Jackie-O Show but the show was cancelled due to Kyle's early depature.
New House?
In another change to the o8 series - a new set is expected with the show's aparent 'revamping'
as well as a brand new Big Brother House
New Audition Process - You Decide
The production team has partly changed which will introduce new concepts including
the opportunity for Australians to pick 3 potential housemates from audition videos posted on the BB website. The voting is
now over and live auditions across the country are expected to begin shortly.
You choose the HMs... well some of them!
Confirmed in a TVWeek interview a TEN spokesperson announced that the public WILL choose
at least three housemates this year.
The new Uncut only rated M
In another announcement of sorts the spokesperson said Uncut/Adults Only wouldn't really
be returning but a new M-Rated show would debut showing the full life circle in the house. It is obviously not the sexual
side of life in the BB house to a major degree as it is NOT rated MA15+ but will still have the highest level of rating for
a BB program in primetime.
No Up-Late?
Up-Late may not return this year, and BB05 Runner-Up Tim is supposivley involved in the show
this season.
How do you nominate?
Plus, Nominations definitly will return with Big Brother this year and will
not be excluded as orginally reported.
Can 24 hours even fit into 1 hour?
Longer daily shows may be shown for up to an hour on numerous night throughout the week
What's the new twist?
There is also new rumours of at least 4 twists to be announced on Opening Night and within
the first few days of the show.
